Below are projects I have been part of for example, setting the tone of a scene, Canva posters, and MORE! I hope you enjoy!
For this project, my friend, Oliver Saundry, created an environment where real people from all communities can open up the conversation about mental health.
He did the editing of the video and published it on his website. I pondered on what story I might share and overall tone of what I wanted my story to highlight.
My video compared to his other videos definitely stood out, because it was the only one at night. My vision behind having my mental health video at night was because most of my inner thoughts and emotional thoughts happen at night. In addition, when I lived in Copenhagen, DK, I would walk the streets at night in my head recapping what had happened that day or the day before.
In 2021, Colorado College (CC) and the State of the Rockies collaborated with CC students to showcase our experience with the wildfires that occurred during that year.
Below you will see the photo I submitted and was grateful enough to have it chosen to be in Colorado Springs local museum. The photo is named "Red Circle". If you focus hard enough you will notice the red circle surrounded by post-ash and what used to be green trees.
Nobody told me that being Black in Denmark would be such a drastic change from what I was used to in America. Here is a Podcast that I created with members of my community at DIS.
Any time I go to a new place, I always go in with an open-mind, Denmark was no different!
